1958-The President of the International Union of Marine, Mr William Geneux Skiing has its first contacts with IOC members and Presidents of National Olympic Committees for the addition of water ski in the Olympics.

1963-The new President of the International Water Ski Mr. Andre Coutau had meetings and contacts with the Director of the ILO, Mr. O. Mayer, who proposed the candidature dossier to present to Congress the ILO in 1964 in Tokyo.
